Class intro – half-drop repeating patterns
A couple of months ago, I started filming a new video for YouTube about half-drop repeating patterns. What seemed like a simple tutorial turned into a long video so I decided to edit it for Skillshare.
I wanted to make a Skillshare class for a really long time, but it seemed more complex than a normal video and I could never find time for it.
In this short class, I will show you my simple method for creating complex half-drop patterns using Adobe Illustrator. This is an advanced pattern making method, but I tried to make the tutorial easy to follow even for beginners. You do need basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator though.
